Your role here
The Supplier Development Lead is responsible for completing assignments and projects to improve suppliers' performances on quality, cost, and deliveries. They will visit suppliers and customers to confirm existing manufacturing processes recommend process improvement ideas to be incorporated internally, and coordinate all quality complaints received by customers.
Your experience and background
Assigned to all quality claims received by customers. Work with suppliers, customers and co-packers to handle any claims from beginning to conclusion and then finalize everything internally to get any potential credits processed to the customer.
Visit customers & co-packers to offer assistance and recommendations to allow our packaging to run efficiently on their lines.
Develop relationships with all supplier quality teams.
Attend initial production runs for all major customers.
Qualify all new molds.
Communicate the root cause analysis and corrective actions process of supplier quality issues to customers.
Review and evaluate supplier quality data to identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain.
Collect and file up-to-date quality documentation from all suppliers and communicate any of the updated files to the sales team when necessary.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience or and proven track record preferred.
